Get it right from the start

Since 2005, Falcon has anticipated and addressed environmental and community concerns regarding our exploration activities. We collect and share data before, during and after operations to ensure and demonstrate safety and environmental protection. We do these things not because we have to, but because it is right to do so.

All drilling is local

We are guests in the areas we operate and we strive to be a welcome addition to the local communities. Falcon has a history of operating in a transparent and respectful manner that address questions and concerns of the individuals and communities impacted by exploration in the area. We hold town hall meetings, “kitchen table” meetings, and engage in thorough public consultation programs. Where possible and appropriate, Falcon engages local contractors and contributes to community events and organizations.

Careful study and execution

For the large part, Falcon is composed of scientists whose fascination with the earth and its inhabitants led them to study engineering, geology and other geosciences. The Karoo Basin in South Africa and the Northern Territory in Australia are environmentally sensitive, largely untouched areas. We understand these and other sensitivities and take every necessary precaution to protect the natural environment from harmful impacts of exploration drilling.
